Ekbatan Granite
Ekbatan Granite is a classic Iranian “salt-and-pepper” granite, also known in the market as Hamedan Salt-and-Pepper Granite. After a period of inactivity, the quarry is now operational again, supplying this well-known stone with its coarse white and black grain structure.
With high compressive strength and low water absorption, Ekbatan Granite is widely used for flooring in high-traffic and public spaces. The quarry is located in Hamedan Province, near the Asadabad Pass.
